Senyo Hosi fires back: If you fail to change, UG will become an expired Kinbu Or Nokia 3310
The Chief Executive Officer of Bulk Oil Distributors, Senyo Kwasi Hosi, has in a letter advised Political Science lecturer with the University of Ghana, Professor Ransford Gyampo to change his ways adding that the University of Ghana will soon become an expired Kinbu or Nokia 3310 if he (Gyampo) and colleague lecturers fail to heed his counsel.
The response by the CEO of the BDCs is targeted at Prof Gyampo following the latter’s justification of the quality of education at the premier University of Ghana.
Mr. Hosi argues that the lecturer’s reply to him summarises how the University of Ghana has largely engaged in a one-way communication which has “been generally intolerant of taking honest feedback and criticism.”
He added, “Very few lecturers welcome candour and questioning the status quo. If this behaviour fails to change, UG will become an expired Kinbu or Nokia 3310. ”
Mr. Hosi advised management of University of Ghana especially lecturers to use their platform to inspire and motivate students and the entire Ghanaian populace to excel in whatever environment they find themselves.
He noted “Inspire a modern face of what UG should be, as a lecturer so we can all learn”.

Dear Prof Gyampo,
Just realised our contact started with your agreement to my article about the Founders’ day.
You are young and should inspire a modern face of what UG should be.
Your article ‘A reply to Senyo Hosi’ summarises what the University of Ghana has largely been. A monologue.
It has been generally intolerant of taking honest feedback and criticism. Very few lecturers welcome candor and questioning the status quo.
If this behaviour fails to change, UG will become an expired Kinbu or Nokia 3310.
PS: A bit more honesty about facts in relation to me and what i do will be welcome. I agreed to being an ambassador only 5 days before the event and agreed to undertake to two tasks. Promo Video and radio interview. I executed all and made my personal donation. All were aware I was not going to be available for the launch. I sat through 2 panel discussions.
