Parliamentary Fashion: See how MPs showed up for the 2025 Mid-Year Budget Review

The premises of the Parliament of Ghana buzzed with excitement as Members of Parliament turned up for the 2025 Mid-Year Budget Review decked out in their finest attire, a fabulous showcase of style and spirit.

Of course, the spotlight was not only on the finance minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, who took centre stage to update Parliament on the execution of the national budget and provided an outlook for the rest of the fiscal year, but also on other legislators who brought their flair to the occasion.

While all the Minority members were clad in all black due to the demise of their fellow, Ernest Kumi, MP for Akwatia Constituency, the Majority caucus brightened the scene with a lively array of colourful outfits, cheering on their colleague as he delivered the government’s budget presentation, showcasing the beauty of unity and fashion in our Ghanaian politics.
