Months after winning the Best International Flow at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards, rapper Sarkodie has finally received the original plaque designed for the award.

The rapper who beat stiff competition from Nigeria’s Falz the Bad Guy, Ghetts, Kalash from France, Female rapper; Little Simz from the UK, South African hip hop prodigy; Nasty C, and Tory Lanez of Canada to win the award took to his Instagram page to unveil the plaque.

Sarkodie after being crowned the winner of the award dedicated the recognition to his daughter Titi in his acceptance speech on the night.

He also used the opportunity to urge the world to visit Ghana as part of the Year of Return celebrations in December 2019.

“I just want to say thank you to the Almighty God. To the family, this one is for my lil girl Titi…. I think Africa has always had it and it is about that time. This year is the Year of Return and I will urge each and every one of you here to take a trip back home.” he said.
