Samba O’Neil Divani arrives in Ghana to seal Kotoko move
Congolese forward Samba O’Neil Divani has arrived in Ghana to finalize his move to Asante Kotoko in the ongoing transfer window.
The highly-rated attacker touched down in Accra on Thursday morning and will embark on a trip to Kumasi to seal his move.
Samba will undergo a mandatory medical before he will put pen to paper. The forward is expected to sign a three-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors.
The Ghanaian giants are currently on the transfer market searching for quality players to augment their team ahead of the new season after a disappointing performance last term.
The Congolese striker is expected to replace Uganda international Steven Mukwala, who departed the club to join Simba SC in Tanzania following the expiration of his contract.
Samba previously represented the Congolese U-17 national team as captain. He will join compatriot Glid Otanga, who plies his trade for rival club Hearts of Oak.
Noted for his scoring prowess, Samba will be a great addition to the Kotoko squad should he find his feet at the club.
