Saif Ali Khan’s stabbing case take twist as second suspect is arrest

According to a report by Reuters, authorities in the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh have arrested a second suspect in connection with the stabbing of the Bollywood star on Saturday.

Saif was attacked on Thursday during a burglary attempt at his Mumbai residence, where he was stabbed six times.

A representative of the Railway Protection Force has revealed to ANI News that “We got information from Mumbai Police that a suspect is travelling by Jnaneswari Express train.”

“…Mumbai Police officials were contacted through video call and the suspect’s identity was confirmed.

He has been detained,” the representative, named Sanjeev Sinha, went on to add.

This comes after another key suspect in the attack was detained on Friday by the police.

It is worth mentioning that the actor, famed for his roles in films like, Jawaani Jaaneman, Race 2, and Cocktail had to go to surgery due to severe injuries.

However, he is now out of danger as per doctors.
