The General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua Frimpong, has disclosed that the party’s Communications Director, Richard Ahiagbah, is in a stable condition following an accident on Saturday, July 27.
The incident occurred early Saturday morning around 1:30 am on the Kumasi-Accra highway near Duapompo, while Ahiagbah was en route to Kumasi for a scheduled programme.
It is unclear what caused the accident but his vehicle was completely damaged.
The Director of Communication sustained injuries and is currently on admission at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
In a press statement released on Sunday, July 28, Mr Kodua Frimpong, said, “Mr Ahiagbah is in a stable condition and is responding positively to treatment. The attending doctors have advised limiting visitors to ensure Mr Ahiagba receives adequate rest during his recovery.”
The NPP expressed its sincere gratitude to Ghanaians for their outpouring of prayers and well wishes for its Communications Director.

On Sunday, Justin Kodua Frimpong, the party’s General Secretary, and other executives visited Richard Ahiagbah at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), where he is receiving treatment.
