Repent from your sinful ways and find favour with NPP delegates- Wontumi tells Ken Agyapong
The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi has advised presidential aspirant and the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong to change his behaviour in order to win the “favour” of the delegates of the party.
Chairman Wontumi at a press conference in Kumasi on October 4, noted that Kennedy Ohene Agyapong should “repent from his sinful ways and choose the way of the Lord, he will find His favour before the party delegates” at the November 4 presidential primary.
Moreover, the Ashanti Regional Chairman urged Ken Agyapong to refrain from the attacks and insults characterised by his campaign since that can affect his vision of being the next leader of the great NPP seeking to retain power in 2024.
However, Chairman Wontuni called on the Assin Central MP to render an apology to all attacked delegates who are not in support of his bid to lead the party in the 2024 general elections.
“Today is 4th and exactly a month today (November 4), we will be going to the polls and I’d like to end my message with Ezekiel chapter 18 vs 22 which says if the sinner should repent from his sinful ways and chooses the way of the Lord, he will be saved. It is left with one month and I don’t seek your loss but those comments suggesting those who wouldn’t vote for you are fools among others, if you apologise to the party delegates and change your ways, you will have the Lord’s favour before them [party delegates]” Chairman Wontumi noted.
