The video of a woman in anguish shouting ‘Father Bernard’ has been all over social media for some months now.

The question people were asking was whether it was an actual video or just a skit for social media users’ content for viewership.

The lady in the viral video has broken the silence on why she decided to fall on Father Bernard’s casket in a grave.

According to the lady identified as Comfort Baaba Basiwaa Jackson, the late Father Bernard was supportive of her life.

Comfort who hails from Saltpond in the Central Region of Ghana said the late Father Bernard was a very good, generous, and loving person who showed love to all.

She explained that anytime her birthday approached Father Bernard sent her gifts.

Aside from that, when she fell sick, Father Bernard paid visits to the hospital where she received treatment.

Furthermore, she alleged in an interview that the late Father Bernard supported her late father as well with all his needs before his demise.

Speaking on how she became Father Bernard’s favorite member in the church she said,” I always help to sweep and clean the church auditorium”.

To what many people think was intentional, Comfort says she doesn’t know what came over her before she ran to fall on the grave.

Meanwhile, the lady who is now tagged as ‘Father Bernard’ by colleagues says she feels uncomfortable when people call her by that name to ridicule her action.

Comfort who has lost both parents said she battled with depression due to a broken heart she encountered after her fiancé left her a few years into their marriage.

She narrated in an interview monitored by The Ghana Report on Kofi TV.
