Rappers not collaborating because of unnecessary comparison – Eno Barony
The unhealthy comparison between rappers makes it difficult to collaborate, rapper Eno Barony has said.
According to her, oftentimes, rappers shy away from working together because music fans are likely to compare their flow and lyrics.
“I’ve not really featured a lot of rappers because a lot of rappers kind of shy away from featuring their co-rappers, especially me being a girl,” she said on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM.
The Best Rap Performance awardee at the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards partly blames the fans for making it difficult for her to get features.
The rapper, who is currently promoting her new song featuring Amerado, hopes to land a feature with award-winning American rapper Kendrick Lamar, who is promoting a new album in Ghana.
She begged the fans to stop scaring rappers from collaborating with her on their songs.
