Prince Appiah files nomination; vows to win Klottey Korle seat for NPP
Parliamentary hopeful, Prince Appiah Debrah, has reaffirmed his decision to contest the Klottey Korle seat on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party by officially filing his nomination.
Prince Appiah hopes to lead the NPP to snatch the seat from the NDC’s Zanetor Rawlings in the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections.
Speaking to a rather exuberant crowd which had ‘escorted’ him for his filing, Prince Appiah called for peace and unity among the rank and file of the party insisting that it was the only way the party could work together to win the seat.
“If we have unity, love and we work hard I know victory will be ours in 2020,” he said.
A delegate who spoke during the filing said Prince Appiah Debrah has demonstrated his love for the party as well as his genuine desire to see constituents prosper hence the need for all to support him in his bid to represent the NPP and the entire constituency in parliament come 2021.
“We are supporting him because he has the party at heart.. he’s a unifier… We the delegates need him to help more people in Klottey Korle as he is doing…Please let us all support him,” he said.
Prince Appiah Debrah was born at Osu to Susana Lankai Odartey of the Odartey Sro We and Mr. Ernest Kofi Debrah of the Asona clan of Akyem Oda.
He was raised entirely at Osu by his maternal grandmother, Maakpa Adoley Kpakpo of Adokwei We of Osu Ashanti whilst his parents sought greener pastures in the United States.
