President’s Cup: Our target is to beat Asante Kotoko to win the cup – ASEC Mimosa coach Julien Chevalier

ASEC Mimosa head coach, Julien Chevalier, says his team is ready to take on Asante Kotoko in the 2024 President’s Cup.

The Ivorian club are in Ghana to play the game, which is being held in honor of former President John Agyekum Kufuor, and Chevalier has said that his team is aiming to win the trophy.

In an interview with Akoma FM, Chevalier expressed his gratitude for being able to participate in the ceremonial event, despite arriving late.

He also stated that ASEC Mimosa will work hard to maintain their perfect record and lift the trophy.

The President’s Cup match between Asante Kotoko and ASEC Mimosa will take place on Tuesday, March 5, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 4 pm.

The game will be officiated by Togolese referee Kouassi Attisso Attiogbe, who will be assisted by his compatriots Adiwotso Komlan and Kpelafia Abdou, and Ghana’s Julian Nunoo will serve as the fourth official.

Mr. Frederick Pappoe will be the Match Commissioner for the match.
