The police have recovered the Toyota Highlander involved in the Adabraka Gold jewellery shop robbery that took place in November 2024 as part of the ongoing investigations into this high-profile case.
The vehicle was retrieved on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from a suspect in the case, Abdul Samid Larry, who is commonly referred to as “Touch”. It was found at a hideout in Ashaiman, Lebanon, located in Greater Accra.
The suspect was apprehended during an operation, while the Toyota Highlander, recognised as a crucial piece of evidence in the robbery, was seized for further forensic analysis and investigative procedures.
According to the police, the suspect is currently in lawful custody and is cooperating with the investigations as efforts persist to determine his level of involvement and to identify other individuals associated with the crime.
