The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) handed over 200 motorbikes to the Ghana Police Service on Monday, December 11, 2023.
The donation, aimed at enhancing police operations nationwide, took place at the National Police Headquarters.
The Board Chairman of ECG, Keli Gadzekpo, led the delegation in presenting the motorbikes.
He also pledged the company would donate an additional 800 motorbikes in subsequent batches.
Expressing gratitude, the Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, acknowledged the generosity of ECG and emphasized the positive impact the motorbikes would have on police operations across the country.
