The Bursar of the Northern School of Business Senior High School (NOBISCO), Fedelia Kudaariwo, has turned herself in to the police following allegations that a substantial amount of food supplies intended for students were found stored in her residence.

According to reports, nine bags of maize were intercepted in the school’s minibus as they were being moved out of the school’s storeroom on Thursday, October 30, 2025.

The vehicle was stopped by a group of volunteers who had been monitoring suspicious activities involving the transportation of food from the school at night.

The volunteers explained that they acted on a tip-off from some students who suspected that a syndicate was secretly stealing food supplies.

Their surveillance led to the arrest of the school’s drivers, Alhassan Sulemana and Osman Asma, who were caught red-handed attempting to move the maize out of campus.

Upon interrogation, one of the drivers allegedly confessed that he had been instructed by the school’s bursar to deliver the food items to her residence.

Acting on this revelation, the volunteers proceeded to Ms. Kudaariwo’s house, where they reportedly found additional food items belonging to the school.

By the time the team arrived, the bursar had already fled.

However, she later turned herself in to the police for further investigation.

Speaking on the incident, Headmaster Alhassan Dokurugu expressed deep disappointment, stating that while the school’s management had been working hard to build a positive reputation, such actions undermined their efforts.

“It is unfortunate that while we are striving to enhance the image of NOBISCO, some individuals are tarnishing it,” Mr. Dokurugu said.

He assured that the school’s administration is fully cooperating with law enforcement authorities to ensure a thorough investigation and that appropriate measures are taken against anyone found guilty.
