The Ghana Report can report that there has been a clash between the Ghana Police Service and law students who are protesting against the stringent legal education in Ghana, ending the peaceful demonstration abruptly.
Reports say, police personal begun splashing hot water on the unarmed protesting law students 100 meters away from the Jubilee house, where the students are marching to present a petition registering their displeasure against the legal education system in ghana.
According to an eyewitness, the police splashed the water as far as the Canadian Embassy on the Independence Avenue.
He said, the Embassy opened its doors to the fear-gripped students, who vowed to stay indoors till those arrested are released.
The police service explained that the students have no permission to enter the presidency.
At least 10 protesters have been arrested.
