Police in the Ashanti Region have arrested a man who was allegedly found in possession of powdered human skull.
The suspect was apprehended in Kwamang, a community in the Ashanti Region, after police reportedly discovered a substance believed to be powdered human skull in his possession during an operation.
According to reports, the discovery was made during a routine police check in the area. Officers became suspicious of the man’s behaviour and decided to search him.
During the search, they allegedly found the strange powder, which authorities suspect to be ground human skull.
The suspect was immediately arrested and taken into custody to assist with investigations. Police say they are working to determine where the remains may have come from and whether other individuals may be connected to the case.
The incident has left many residents in Kwamang deeply disturbed, with some expressing fears about the possibility of ritual-related crimes in the community.
Many locals who heard about the arrest gathered near the scene, expressing shock and disbelief at the discovery.
