The suspects, John Dakurah, Numbuzie Chawinaa and Tankpare Sylvester, were arrested from their hideouts in Kuntaali, a village in the Nadowli-Kaleo District.

The lifeless body of the deceased was later found lying between the Chari and Kuntaali villages.
