The Savannah Regional Police Command has arrested 27 individuals in connection with drug-related offences during a special Christmas operation across the region.
The arrests took place in Salaga, Damongo, Buipe, and Bole as part of increased security and crime-prevention efforts during the festive season.
A statement posted on the Ghana Police Service’s official Facebook page on December 26 indicated that the suspects, including several women, were found with various narcotics, including dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.
