Photos: VEEP visit coronavirus call center

Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has paid a familiarisation visit to the National Information Contact Centre (NICC) in Accra.

The centre, an office under the Information Ministry created to provide information to citizens who call to express concerns, has been recalibrated as a COVID-19 Call Centre.

The centre has been in operation since the beginning of the month of April.

In a Facebook post, Dr. Bawumia wrote, “Today I visited the state-of-the-art National Information Contact Centre (NICC) which has been in operation since the start of April.

Ghanaians can call the NICC to provide information or express concerns on any issue.”

The NICC can be reached by dialing 311, it is manned every day of the week.
