Though it does not have wings and cannot fly, it is certainly a match for limousines and other luxury vehicles.

‘Kantanka Mo’ is noted for its unique blend of colours; black rectangular boxes can be seen on the right side of the vehicle, with the kantanka logo at the peak of the vehicle and the name of the new invention boldly written in white.

 

Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, who was part of the dignitaries who graced the event, commended the efforts of the founder and Chief innovator of the Kantanka group of companies Apostle Professor Dr Kwadwo Safo.

He described the vehicles as one of a kind in the world.

The Vice President announced the government’s plan to introduce a new policy geared at purchasing Ghanaian assembled vehicles, including Kantanka.

He then lauded the remarkable achievements chalked by Apostle Kwadwo Safo, especially in the area of agricultural and technological development, and industrialisation.

Dr Bawumia further used the opportunity to reaffirm government policies to make technical and vocational education a major component of the educational curriculum.

And also ensure re-engineering technical and vocational education in Ghana become abreast with modern trends.
