Ghana’s Olympic team made a vibrant appearance at the 2024 Olympics opening ceremony, joining over 150 countries in a spectacular parade along the Seine River.

A total of eight Ghanaian athletes will compete in this year’s Olympics, including high jumper Rose Yeboah, swimmers Joselle Mensah and Harry Stacey, and the Men’s 4×100 Relay Team.

The Ghanaian delegation in Paris comprises 13 individuals, led by Ghana Olympic Committee President Ben Nunoo Mensah.

The team’s support staff includes veteran sports journalist Benjamin Willie Graham as Media Attache, Philippina Frimpong as Athletics Leader, and Ghana Swimming Association President Delphina Quaye as Swimming Leader.

However, notably absent from the team’s support staff is a psychologist, despite having a physiotherapist, nurse, and doctor in attendance.
