A 66-year-old palm wine tapper, Samuel Kwofie, popularly known as Ghanaman, has been killed on his farm at Daboase following a misunderstanding with his farmhand over a missing pipeline.
Kwofie had reportedly engaged a 48-year-old man, identified as Akuffo Addo, to assist him with his palm wine business.
Trouble began when a pipeline used for tapping the wine went missing. Kwofie suspected that Akuffo Addo had stolen it and confronted him about the matter, threatening to involve the police if the pipeline was not returned.
