Overflow car park opened at Terminal 3 of Kotoka Airport ahead of Christmas rush

Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has announced the opening of an overflow car park at Terminal 3 of the Kotoka International Airport to help manage the expected surge in passenger traffic during the Christmas travel season.

The additional parking facility, located adjacent the existing Terminal 3 (T3) car park, provides about 300 extra parking bays to ease congestion and improve convenience for passengers and airport visitors.

According to GACL, the move forms part of measures being implemented to enhance passenger experience and ensure smooth operations during the festive period, which is traditionally marked by increased travel activity.

Parking attendants will be stationed around the airport to guide motorists and direct them to the overflow parking areas as they approach the terminal.

GACL has encouraged airport users to cooperate with parking officials and adhere to traffic and safety instructions to ensure a hassle-free travel experience throughout the Christmas season.
