Over 50 officers in deprived areas promoted – IGP
The Police Administration has promoted some 58 junior officers in deprived areas for their hard work and dedication to duty.
According to the Inspector General of Police, James Oppong-Boanuh , the promotion is to encourage officers to accept posting to all parts of the country where their services are needed.
In a facebook post Thursday afternoon, the IGP stated that it is important to recognize the numerous contributions of these officers.
“Officers who work hard will be awarded for their hard work wherever they are serving. Officers will not be left to rot in deprived areas. All officers will have to taste city and village life at one time or the other, “the IGP stated.
