Ghana Black Stars head coach Otto Addo will unveil his squad for the upcoming 2025 AFCON qualifiers at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Headquarters later today, Thursday, August 29 at 12:00 GMT.
The team is set to face Angola on September 5 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi and Niger on September 9 in an away match.
Following a disappointing 2023 AFCON campaign, which led to Otto Addo’s appointment as head coach, the Black Stars are looking to build on their recent wins over Mali and Central African Republic in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
With key players like Jordan Ayew, Antoine Semenyo, Mohammed Kudus, Abdul Mumin, and Thomas Partey enjoying strong starts to the 2024-2025 season with their respective clubs, they are likely to be included in the squad for the crucial qualifiers.
The Black Stars are eager to secure a spot in the prestigious tournament and make a strong showing on the continental stage.
The tournament is scheduled to take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
