American media executive and talk show host,Oprah Winfrey, has purchased a mobile phone for a Nigerian boy.
Oprah Winfrey had earlier met the boy, Olufemi, when she visited Morehouse College to renew her scholarship donation to the school.
After the donation, the boy and his friends decided to take pictures with the TV personality.
Oprah Winfrey realized that Olufemi was using a phone with a cracked screen.
“Yeah, that is me! That’s me in your cracked phone”, she said.
Days after, Winfrey surprised the boy and got him a new phone with a lovely message.
“Dear Olufemi, “We can’t have you here viewing the world thru a cracked screen or a cracked cover. The new camera you gonna love for sure!”, the message read.
Olufemi after receiving his new iPhone shared the news with his friends on Twitter.
