‘Okada’ Campaign Alert: John Dumelo Rallies Support For NDC in Assin North(Video)

Actor cum politician John Dumelo who represented the National Democratic Congress(NDC) for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency John Dumelo has been spotted in Assin North, campaigning for the party on a motorbike commonly known as ‘Okada’.

Dumelo whose possible re-election as Parliamentary Candidate for his constituency has been delayed due to some reasons is seeking support for the Assin North constituency seat to be retained for James Gyakye Quayson and the NDC.

The Assin North by-election is scheduled for Tuesday, June 27.

James Gyakye Quayson is competing with Charles Opoku for the New Patriotic Party and Bernice Enyonam Sefenu for the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG).

Aside from John Dumelo, many party officials like Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa have been in the Constituency campaigning to have James Gyakye Quayson re-elected as the Member of Parliament.

In a video shared by John Dumelo on Twitter, he is heard shouting the slogan of the NDC, ‘3y3 Zu’ with some supporters responding ‘3y3 Za’ as they hail him and the party.
