The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the termination of volunteer appointments, effective February 28, 2025.
In a circular issued by the Director General, Felix Gyamfi, the authority said this affects all volunteers except those in districts where one person mans the office.
“Such districts will retain one volunteer assistant. Additionally, vacant districts will be allowed to maintain one assistant, a cleaner, catering staff, and farm personnel,” it added.
NSA further instructed the Heads of Departments (HODs), Unit Heads, and Regional Directors to retrieve all NSA property, including laptops, documents, and motorbikes, from the outgoing volunteers before the deadline.
The authority also expressed appreciation to the volunteers for their dedication, hard work, and contributions.
