The West London branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP-UK) is showing new energy and focus as it prepares for the 2028 general elections.
At a recent face-to-face meeting held last Sunday, members came together in large numbers, showing unity and a shared determination to help the party succeed both in Ghana and abroad.
The meeting was organised by the Chapter Chairman, Isaac Appiah-Kubi, and brought together party members, grassroots organisers, and executives.
Some well-known figures who spoke at the event included Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, a former Majority Leader in Parliament; Irene Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, CEO of the Sompahemaa Foundation; and Sammy Crabbe, a former Second Vice Chairman of the party.
They all shared a similar message: the party must stay united, disciplined, and well-organised if it wants to win in 2028.
They warned members to avoid division and instead focus on working together for the good of the party.
Many members also expressed strong support for Mahamudu Bawumia, saying he is the best person to lead the party into the next election. They encouraged everyone to come together and support him.
Chairman Isaac Appiah-Kubi also spoke briefly, stressing that good planning, strong organisation, and active grassroots work will be key to winning future elections.
The event was not all about politics. The group also took time to celebrate Mother’s Day, appreciating the important role of mothers in the party. The celebration included the cutting of a cake, which added a warm and friendly touch to the gathering.
Observers say the West London chapter is becoming more organised and active, especially under the leadership of Chairman Appiah-Kubi.
With its focus on unity, strategy, and grassroots work, the group believes the NPP can rebuild and position itself strongly for victory in 2028.
