NPP Polling Station Chairman who shot his wife dies

The Tepa-Danyame New Patriotic Party (NPP) Polling station Chairman Kwaku Seidu who allegedly shot his wife, has passed away.

The suspect, who reportedly shot his wife over a family land he attempted to sell to settle his debt and provide money for the family’s upkeep, gave up the ghost while on admission at the Tepa Government Hospital.

The deceased is said to have shot one of his wives, Sister Adwoa, in the presence of the chief and his family members to settle the misunderstanding.

He was attacked and beaten mercilessly by an angry mob shortly after the unfortunate incident.

Although he was saved by police officers who arrived at the scene, reports indicate that he was very weak from the injuries, thus causing his death.

The body of Seidu has since been deposited at the mortuary.

Meanwhile, the lifeless body of the deceased mother of three has also been deposited at the Tepa government hospital morgue for preservation.
