NPP parliamentary race: Gospel presenter OB Nartey picks nomination form
Ghanaian gospel presenter Kwame OB Nartey has picked a nomination form to contest in the New Patriotic Party Parliamentary primaries in the Adenta Constituency.
OB Nartey accompanied by his team visited the party’s constituency headquarters on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, to pick up the form.
They were received by the Chairman of the Adentan Constituency Joseph Acolatse.
At the party’s headquarters, OB Nartey showed appreciation to the party executives for welcoming his decision to contest in the upcoming Parliamentary primaries.
He also appealed to all party members to regard him as their best candidate, determined and capable of winning our parliamentary seat come December 2024.
The party has scheduled its Parliamentary primaries to start from Saturday, September 23, 2023, to December 2, 2023, specifically for the Orphan Constituencies across the country.
OB Nartey is a member of the Table of Men group who believes that gospel artistes like secular musicians deserve honorary awards in the entertainment industry.
During the 2023 VGMA, the Table of Men squad including OB Nartey campaigned massively for Piesie Esther to win the Artiste Of The Year Category when she was nominated among secular artistes like Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, King Promise, Camidoh, and KiDi.
OB Nartey became more popular when he started hosting his Live Worship show on Vision 1 FM.
He has promised to help his party to break the ‘eight’ in the 2024 polls.
