The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced the prohibition of billboards, banners, and posters at the 2025 National Annual Delegates Conference, scheduled for Saturday, July 19, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

This directive was announced by Joseph Osei-Owusu, the Chairman of the National Planning Committee, as part of efforts to ensure order, neutrality, and focus during this significant event, which is expected to attract a large number of party delegates nationwide.

“There shall be no billboards, banners, posters, flyers, T-shirts, or souvenirs with aspirant branding allowed at the venue or within Accra,” Mr Osei-Owusu stated during a press briefing.

He further clarified that there is a “complete ban on all forms of campaign activities”, which applies both before and after the conference, encompassing the entire area around the venue.

To enforce these regulations, the party has established a dedicated operations team alongside compliance monitors responsible for patrolling the conference grounds and nearby areas.

Mr. Osei-Owusu stressed that “All such prohibited campaign materials shall be removed and destroyed by the team,” highlighting that there will be no exceptions to this rule.

This directive aims to promote a level playing field and maintain a focus on party unity and strategic decision-making throughout the conference.
