The National Identification Authority (NIA) has announced the complete restoration of Ghana Card printing services throughout the nation after overcoming temporary technical difficulties that had hindered the process in recent weeks.
In a press statement released on Thursday, March 5, 2026, the Authority reassured the general public that the issues impacting the printing of the national identification card had been entirely resolved.
Consequently, printing services have recommenced at all NIA offices across the country.
According to the NIA, the disruption was due to technical challenges that momentarily affected the production process.
While the Authority did not disclose detailed information regarding the specific nature of the technical issues, it stressed that the problems have now been completely rectified, enabling normal operations to resume.
The NIA expressed gratitude to the public for their patience and understanding during the disruption period.
The Authority recognised the inconvenience caused and thanked citizens and residents for their cooperation while efforts were made to address the challenges.
