The Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has unscheduled the 2024 presidential primaries in the Manhyia South Constituency.
The party has also suspended the parliamentary primaries in 14 other constituencies.
This was announced by the NDC Deputy-General Secretary, Barbra Serwaa Asamoah in a press release on Thursday, April 27, 2023.
FEC arrived at the decision “in order to have a smooth exercise for the Presidential and Parliamentary Primaries of the Party across the length and breadth of the country.”
The affected constituencies include; Akwatia, Ayensuano, Afram Plains South, Lower West Akim, Adansi Asokwa, Mampong, Ayawaso West Wuogon, and Odododiodoo. Others are Amenfi East, Gomoa Central, Akontombra, Tano North, Assin North, and Efutu.
All others will go to the polls on Saturday, May 13.
