National Economic Dialogue kicks off on March 3, 2025

The government has announced that the National Economic Dialogue will take place from March 3 to 4, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre.

A statement issued on Tuesday, February 18, by Presidential Spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu, emphasized that the event will serve as a platform for Ghanaians to address pressing economic challenges and develop actionable solutions for sustainable growth.

President John Mahama will lead the discussions with a keynote address on the theme: “Resetting Ghana: Building the Economy We Want Together.”

The statement highlighted that this initiative is a key step in fulfilling President Mahama’s commitment to involving citizens in shaping the country’s economic future. The dialogue aims to build consensus and foster collaboration on priority policies and structural reforms.

Expected to be a turning point in Ghana’s economic revitalization, the forum will bring together key stakeholders, including representatives from the private sector, academia, public policy institutions, and civil society organizations. Discussions will focus on setting clear commitments and milestones to drive long-term economic resilience and transformative growth.
