Mzbel abruptly ends show after announcing death of her father
Hiplife artiste Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, on Thursday, 27 January 2022, abruptly ended her radio programme on Onua FM after she was informed that her father, Albert Amoah, had died.
The singer, popularly known in showbiz as Mzbel, was shedding tears uncontrollably when she told listeners that she had to cut the programme short.

“Please I am sorry, we have to end the show here. I have lost my dad, and I have to go now because he is a Muslim and I might miss his burial if I delay,” she said amid sobbing.
The cause of Albert Amoah’s death is unknown but his death comes a day after Mzbel’s estranged friend, Afia Schwarzenegger, held a one-week commemoration for her late father, Augustine Agyei, who died at age 84.
Colleague socialites and fans have since expressed their condolences to the ’16 Years’ singer.
“My condolences dear. Be strong,” actress Zynnel Zuh wrote and Nikki Samonas added, “My deepest warmest condolence”.
TV host Mona Gucci also express empathy.
