Mystery as woman found stuck on tree in Kumasi suburb

Residents of Agric Afasebon, a quiet suburb in Kumasi, woke up to a scene that left many speechless.

A woman, believed by some to be a witch, was discovered stuck on an avocado tree in the early hours of the morning.

Stephen, a resident who witnessed the incident, shared what happened.

“The landlord said he heard dogs barking around 4 am. When he stepped out to check, he saw the woman trembling in the tree, soaked from the rain,” he recounted.

The woman, still silent and drenched, was eventually taken away by police officers who arrived shortly after. Her face was covered as she was led into a pickup truck, shielding her from the growing crowd.
