Mubarick Masawudu named Deputy GMA Boss

Mubarick Masawudu, a former parliamentary aspirant for the Asawase constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has been appointed Deputy Director-General of the Ghana Maritime Authority (GMA).

The appointment is part of a broader reshuffle of leadership across key government agencies, an effort led by President John Dramani Mahama to inject fresh energy into state institutions.

Mubarick Masawudu, known for his strong ties to the NDC and active political engagement, is expected to help steer the Ghana Maritime Authority towards greater efficiency and development.

His political experience and background are seen as assets in strengthening the Authority’s administrative structure at a time when the maritime sector is considered a critical area for Ghana’s economic expansion.
