Telecommunication giant MTN Ghana has started compensating customers after it suffered some undersea fibre cut last week.
Millions of MTN subscribers were left frustrated after they were unable to access the internet for days.
In a statement, CEO of MTN, Selorm Adadevoh said customers will be given a free 2GB of data.
The data packages are expected to last last for two days.
“All data customers on MTN Ghana’s network will receive free 2GB data valid for two days,” the statement said.
“MTN Ghana remains committed to its mission to make the lives of customers a whole lot brighter through continuous investments in network and technology infrastructure,” the statement added.
