Mohammed Kudus return is good news for us- West Ham Manager
West Ham United manager Julen Lopetegui has described the return of Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus as “good news” for the team.
Lopetegui said this in his pre-game interview ahead of West Ham’s English Premier League tie against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
Kudus is set to return to action after serving a five-game suspension; he was shown a straight red card against Tottenham Hotspurs attracting a three-game suspension and got hit with a further two-game ban for violent conduct in the red card incident.
“Let’s see what’s going to happen with [Mohammed Kudus]. We’re not going to talk about the line-up. It’s true that he’s now available after being out for a long time, too. He’s ready, working well and happy to be back, which is good news for us because we have a lot of upcoming matches in a row, and it’s a good thing we have as many options as possible for these games.”
West Ham won two, lost twice and drew in Kudus’ five-game absence.
