Medeama Part Ways With Technical Director Seth Ablade

The technical director of Medeama SC, Seth Ablade, has left after just seven months with the club.

The Ghana Premier League side announced on Monday that the two parties have agreed to part ways after a meeting.

Ablade joined the Mauve and Yellows on a three-year deal back in February 2021, succeeding Augustine Evans Adotey, who left the club in 2017.

“Medeama Technical director Seth Ablade has left the club after seven months,” a statement on the club’s website read.

The 37-year-old was a member of the Ghana U17 team that finished 3rd in New Zealand in 1999 and enjoyed an extensive playing career in Europe featuring clubs in Finland, Poland, Austria, and Albania.

He holds a UEFA Pro Licence coach and a certificate of Science in Sports as well.

The Tarkwa based club, in their opening fixture of the 2021/22 season over the weekend, suffered a 4-0 thrashing by Bechem United in an action-filled match in which both teams were reduced to 10 men.
