Management of Nalerigu Nursing school condemns trainee nurses for begging Mahama
Management of the College of Nursing and Midwifery, Nalerigu has condemned the actions of some trainee nurses who begged John Mahama for forgiveness for voting him out of office.
The nurses who chanted “we are sorry” rather rythmically at a visit to the palace of the overlord of Mamprugu during the former President’s “Thank You” tour sought forgiveness from the NDC flagbearer for ‘treating him unfairly’ while he was president.
But management of the school says the views of the select few nurses does not represent the collective views of all at the college.
Management of the college in a statement says the students were transported to the place without approval or consent.
The statement said, “We also condemn in no certain terms, any machinations or manipulations targeted at students of the institution with the aim at making political capital. The college wishes to disassociate itself from the views and policy orientations expressed in the audio-video material. The college is assuring the general public that it has launched a full-scale investigation of the incident.”
