A violent confrontation at Nzema Nkwanta, a farming community in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region, has left a 25-year-old man with severe injuries to his right hand.
The victim, identified as Charles Apraku, was reportedly attacked with a cutlass following a misunderstanding with another man.
According to available information, the suspect became angry after the victim allegedly pushed his motorbike to the ground during the dispute.
In the heat of the confrontation, the suspect is said to have wielded a cutlass and inflicted deep wounds on Charles Apraku’s right hand. The attack resulted in a fractured bone, leaving the victim in serious pain.
Charles Apraku has since been taken to a health facility for medical treatment, while police have launched investigations to identify and apprehend the suspect involved in the attack.
