Lydia Forson blames media for the creation of Counsellor Lutterodt
Outspoken actress, Lydia Forson, has delved into Counsellor Lutterodt’s ban by the Ghana Psychological Council.
According to her, the ‘blatant Counsellor image’ that Counsellor Lutterodt created for himself was aided by the media.
“Counsellor Lutterodt didn’t happen overnight; radio, tv, producers, presenters etc all contributed to his notoriety,” she tweeted.
Explaining further, the actress said, the media supported him by giving him their platform to disrespect and mock people, especially women, because they wanted to top the media ratings.
“People chose ratings over respect, they enjoyed him mocking women, calling them ashawo and egged him on,” she said.
The Ghana Psychological Council on September 11, banned Counsellor Lutterodt from counselling on radio and television, after he said in an interview with The Ghana Report that women who keep natural hair are depressed.
