Legon Cities announce signing of Abednego Asafo
Legon Cities have officially unveiled Abednego Asafo as the club’s latest signing in the January transfer window.
Asafo joined the club on transfer deadline day and was unveiled before the game against Bibiani GoldStars on Sunday.
The 26-year-old signed a two-year deal to join the club as Legon Cities continue their battle for survival.
The 26-year-old joined Emmanuel Gyamfi, Elijah Satekla, Eugene Kwaku Amoah and Clinton Appiah as the club’s latest signings.
“We are pleased to announce the arrival of experienced left-back, Asafo Abednego. The 26-year-old has completed a medical and signed a deal that will run for the next two seasons. Welcome to Legon Cities, Abednego,” wrote Legon Cities.
The Royals, who are currently in the relegation zone, secured an important victory in the first game of the secon round against GoldStars.
