‘Learn to Love yourself’ – Kenya model undergoes surgery to remove ‘deteriorating’ fake bum‘
Kenya socialite Vera Sidika, who became famous for her huge backside, has undergone corrective surgery to remove her fake buttocks due to health risks and complications.
Vera says that she has learned to love her natural body after almost losing her life to complications from the BBL surgery.
She wrote: “THE REBIRTH …This has been the hardest phase in my life. Due to health risks & complications, I had to undergo surgery. It’s still very unbelievable, but I’ve come to terms with it & learnt to love myself regardless. Ladies, please learn to love yourself and don’t ever let peer pressure rush you into things that will ruin you in future. I’m lucky to be alive. God loves me so much. Honestly, it’s been pretty hard. I didn’t even celebrate my bday this year, but here we are. Happy birthday to me. New me. I’ve come to appreciate life & never take things for granted.”
Vera said she hopes sharing this experience with her social media following will help someone make the right decision about cosmetic/ plastic surgery.

“Thanks to my family, especially my husband, for being there for me. To my fans, I am still the same sweetest Vera Sidika, and that hasn’t changed. I appreciate y’all love & support. And I pray you will walk through this journey with me,” she continued. “I will be posting my surgery journey videos here. For those who have been thinking of getting booty surgery or changing anything on their bodies, this might change your mind. Peace & Love.”
Last year, Vera Sidika told her instagram live audience that her backside is natural and that she had only altered her breast, skin and teeth.
She revealed that her skin-lightening cream costs Sh15 Million Kenyan shillings, which is app. Ghs1.3M.
