Late J.B Danquah’s ghost haunting me – Suspect cries
The alleged killer of J.B. Danquah Adu broke down in tears at the Accra High Court on Tuesday, saying he is sleepless because the ghost of the dead Member of Parliament is tormenting him.
Daniel Asiedu, an accused person with a history of giving the media headlines, said he was being haunted by the ghost of the late Member of Parliament.
“I can’t sleep so I want to speak the truth so that this case will be over,” Graphic Online reported him as saying.
Asiedu also pleaded with the court, presided over by Justice Lydia Osei Marfo, to discharge Vincent Bosso, the other accused person in the murder of the MP for Abuakwa South.
“He is innocent and he should not be here,” he said asking the court to discharge his co-accused.
J.B Danquah Adu was stabbed to death on the night of Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at his Shiashie residence in Accra.
Asiedu, popularly known as ‘Sexy Don Don’ and Bosso, have been charged with murder and abetment of crime in the murder of the late MP.
Asiedu and Bosso have pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery, while Asiedu has pleaded not guilty to murder and robbery.
