Kudus Mohammed to miss Ghana’s WC Qualifiers with Ethiopia and South Africa

Ajax and Ghana Midfielder Kudus Mohammed will miss Ghana’s WC Qualifiers with Ethiopia and South Africa scheduled for September 3rd and 6th, 2021 respectively.

The Ajax midfielder has endured a difficult start to his second season with the Dutch giants as he’s still on the treatment table following an injury he picked up during the club’s preseason.

Kudus is expected to continue his recovery during the International window, thus ruling him out of the Black Stars’ World Cup Qualifiers doubleheader.

Kudus has been a revelation since gaining his first call-up to the National team. He was amongst the goals in the Black Stars’ penultimate AFCON qualifier when they took on the Bafana Bafana in South Africa.

The Black Stars will host their Ethiopian counterparts for the World Cup Qualifiers on September 3rd before travelling out to play South Africa on September 6th.
