Highlife artist Kuami Eugene has firmly dismissed claims that his career has slowed since his exit from Lynx Entertainment, describing such narratives as inaccurate and misleading.

In an interview, the singer said his recent success speaks for itself, noting that some of his biggest songs were released after leaving the label.

“Actually, I barely see those kinds of comments these days because ‘Belinda’ was released after I left Lynx Entertainment. Even ‘Monica’ came out after I left Lynx, so I don’t really understand. ‘Do Better’ alone has over a million views, and most of the songs I’ve released have crossed a million views. These songs are out there making waves.”

He also highlighted his strong presence on the performance circuit, particularly during the festive season, stressing that he was booked for almost every major show in December.

“I played almost every show this December. I was everywhere,” he stated.

Kuami Eugene believes the perception that his career is struggling is a false narrative created by some people rather than a reflection of reality. He maintained that he is doing well musically and remains grateful to God for his success.

“People just create narratives and make it seem like things aren’t going well. I don’t know if I’m supposed to knock on doors to tell them anytime I release a new song. But it’s actually been very good, and I give all the glory to God.”
