Kotoko to play home matches at Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium

Ghana Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko, have confirmed the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium as their temporary home ground for the 2024/25 football season.

This decision comes after their initial plan to use the Baba Yara Sports Stadium was derailed by its closure for renovation by the National Sports Authority (NSA).

The club announced the new venue on social media, stating that they will host all their home matches at Len Clay Stadium until the Baba Yara Sports Stadium renovations are complete.

Asante Kotoko will play their next home game against Young Apostles on Sunday, September 22. Despite the switch, the Porcupine Warriors remain focused on improving their performance this season, especially after a strong start with an away victory against Karela United.

The club, which finished fourth in the league last season, is aiming to climb higher on the table in the current campaign.
